We are currently looking for a Sales Strategy Analyst to join our Corporate Performance & ESG Business Unit.
CP & ESG delivers software solutions and services that help organizations manage financial, sustainability, operational, and regulatory reporting requirements, enabling better business performance, risk management, and compliance through data-driven decision-making.
About the Role:
The Sales Strategy Analyst provides analytical and operational support to the Sales Strategy and Revenue Operations functions, helping drive commercial effectiveness, revenue growth, and data-driven decision-making. This role is responsible for delivering actionable insights, maintaining sales reporting and forecasting processes, supporting sales compensation administration, and identifying opportunities to optimize sales performance. The Sr. Sales Strategy Analyst works closely with Sales Leadership, Revenue Operations, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to ensure accurate reporting, strong data integrity, and efficient sales operating rhythms. While working under general guidance, this role applies analytical expertise to solve business problems, support strategic initiatives, and improve the effectiveness of the go-to-market organization.
Responsibilities:
Sales Analytics & Business Intelligence
Develop, maintain, and enhance sales dashboards, reports, and scorecards using Salesforce, Power BI, and other analytics tools. Analyze pipeline health, sales productivity, conversion rates, bookings performance, and forecast trends. Deliver actionable insights and recommendations to Sales Leaders and key stakeholders. Support recurring business reviews with data preparation, analysis, and presentation materials. Conduct ad hoc analyses to support strategic business decisions.
Pipeline Management & Forecasting
Support structured pipeline review processes and forecasting activities. Monitor pipeline movement and identify leading and lagging indicators affecting performance. Assist in maintaining forecast accuracy through data validation and trend analysis. Partner with sales leaders to identify revenue risks and opportunities. Produce reporting that supports territory planning, quota attainment, and sales performance management.
Sales Compensation Support
Assist in the administration and analysis of sales compensation programs. Support compensation calculations, plan validation, and payout reporting. Analyze compensation effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement. Ensure accurate documentation and communication of compensation-related metrics.
Sales Process & Operational Excellence
Support initiatives to improve sales processes, workflows, and operational effectiveness. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve reporting efficiency. Assist with CRM governance and sales process compliance. Document business requirements and support system enhancements. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance commercial execution.
Systems, Tools & Data Integrity
Maintain high standards for data quality across Salesforce and related systems. Monitor data integrity and proactively identify data issues. Support adoption and effective utilization of sales tools and technologies. Assist with system testing, reporting enhancements, and process documentation. Partner with Revenue Operations, IT, and business stakeholders on technology improvements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Sales, Finance, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success teams. Support strategic projects that improve revenue performance and operational effectiveness. Provide analytical support for business planning, territory management, and go-to-market initiatives. Build productive relationships with stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
Skills
Analytical & Technical SkillsS
Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving capabilities. Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau. Ability to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights from large datasets. Experience working with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce. Familiarity with reporting automation and business intelligence tools.
Business & Operational Skills
Understanding of sales operations, pipeline management, forecasting, and sales performance metrics. Knowledge of sales compensation administration and sales planning concepts. Process improvement mindset with attention to detail and operational rigor. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.
Communication & Collaboration
Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present findings and recommendations clearly to business stakeholders. Effective relationship-building skills across cross-functional teams. Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
What We Are Looking For
•Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field; or equivalent experience
•Experience: 2+ years in Sales Operations, Revenue Operations, Business Analytics, Strategy, Finance, or a related analytical role.
•Experience developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for business stakeholders.
•Exposure to pipeline management, forecasting, or sales planning processes.
•Experience working with Salesforce, Power BI, Excel, and other sales analytics tools.
