As a Sales Support Representative, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales strategy, strengthening customer relationships, and ensuring seamless coordination between customers, manufacturing, and sales teams. This position is critical to driving revenue growth, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting the successful execution of customer orders throughout the sales cycle.

Your Role at a Glance

  • Receive customer inquiries, establish pricing in accordance with company policy, and prepare timely quotations and tender proposals
  • Follow up on quotations and tenders to secure orders and provide market feedback to management and outside sales teams
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors and end-user customers to promote Vallourec products and services
  • Perform accurate order entry and contract review to ensure customer requirements are properly documented and fulfilled
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, outside sales teams, and manufacturing throughout the sales cycle
  • Coordinate delivery schedules and support active orders to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist Sales Management with forecasting, reporting, process improvements, and achievement of business targets
  • Support accounts receivable activities to ensure adherence to contractual payment terms
  • Maintain sales documentation, controlled records, standard operating procedures, and work instructions
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support company Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHS&E) programs

What Sets You Apart

We're looking for individuals who bring the right mix of experience, mindset, and motivation:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of sales support experience within the tubular manufacturing, OCTG, or distribution industry may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Strong written, verbal, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
  • Experience presenting information and communicating effectively with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders
  • SAP and ERP system experience preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
