Role Description The Sales Team Lead is a full-time hybrid role based in Lagos State, Nigeria, with some flexibility for work from home. This role oversees the sales team’s daily activities, including setting targets, monitoring performance, and providing coaching to ensure revenue and growth objectives are met. The Sales Team Lead will develop and implement sales strategies, manage key customer relationships, and support the team in identifying new business opportunities. The role involves coordinating with marketing and operations, preparing sales reports and forecasts, and ensuring high standards of customer service and brand representation. The individual will also conduct regular team meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to maintain a motivated, results-driven sales team.
Qualifications
- Experience with sales of weightloss products is a must
- Strong Sales skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Should have experience with wellness products and an active distributor network you currently sell to {will be verified}
- has a historic sales volume of 50M upwards monthly
- Proven Team Management capabilities to lead, coach, and motivate a sales team.
- Excellent Customer Service skills focused on responsiveness, relationship building, and client retention.
- Effective Communication skills, both verbal and written, for internal collaboration and customer engagement.
- Solid Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, track performance metrics, and support informed decision-making.
- Previous experience in sales leadership or supervisory roles, preferably in health, beauty, or FMCG sectors.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfort with hybrid work arrangements and proficiency in common digital tools (CRM systems, spreadsheets, presentation software).
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.
