Job Summary
We are seeking a Salesforce Commerce Cloud Developer to design, build, and optimize high-scale digital storefronts. The ideal candidate will write custom server-side and client-side logic to handle complex cart dynamics, custom payment gateways, external inventory integrations, and headless API-first commerce architectures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and customize digital storefront architectures leveraging Salesforce B2C Storefront Reference Architecture (SFRA) or B2B Commerce on Lightning Experience.
  • Write high-performance server-side scripts using JavaScript/Node.js, controllers, and custom pipelines to manage pricing rules, catalog data, and checkout pipelines.
  • Build headless commerce components using Salesforce Commerce API (SCAPI) and Composable Commerce architectures to drive decoupled front-end experiences.
  • Integrate third-party systems including payment processors (e.g., Stripe, Adyen), tax estimation tools, order management systems (OMS), and external inventory grids.
  • Create custom business manager configurations, managing site preferences, product categorization logic, content slots, and promotional modules.
  • Optimize site performance and scalability, focusing on page loading efficiency, caching profiles, query structures, and script debugging.
  • Troubleshoot processing failures, pipeline exceptions, database timeouts, and integration sync lags to ensure peak site uptime.



Requirements

  • 4 to 8 years of core enterprise e-commerce web engineering experience, with 3+ dedicated years developing solutions directly within the Salesforce Commerce Cloud ecosystem.
  • Strong technical mastery of JavaScript (ES6+), Node.js frameworks, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and database querying principles.
  • Deep understanding of ISML templates, business manager tools, SFRA frameworks, and secure API integration configurations.
  • Mandatory certification: Salesforce Certified B2C Commerce Developer OR Salesforce Certified B2B Commerce Developer.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1) certification.
  • Prior front-end engineering experience with modern JavaScript applications (e.g., React, Vue.js) deployed in a headless e-commerce setup.
