We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Developer to join an international project, bringing strong technical expertise in Salesforce development, with a particular focus on Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
What will you do?
- Take end-to-end ownership of requirements, from design and implementation to unit testing.
- Configure Salesforce solutions in line with business requirements and established standards.
- Develop the code required to implement project interfaces and integrations.
- Prepare functional and technical specifications and other relevant documentation.
- Execute unit tests, analyze defects, implement fixes, and define and review test cases.
- Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and identity resolution processes.
- Develop and optimize marketing automation workflows, dynamic emails, and customer journeys.
- Ensure data security, privacy, and compliance with GDPR/CCPA requirements.
What do you need?
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Informatics, or an equivalent qualification.
- At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, including Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud.
- Strong knowledge of Data Modeling, including Data Streams, Data Lake Objects (DLOs), Data Model Objects (DMOs), Unified Individual, and Identity Resolution.
- Experience with batch, streaming, and API-based ingestion, as well as external connectors such as Amazon S3 and Google BigQuery.
- Experience with data mapping, Calculated Insights, Transformation Rules, SQL, schema alignment, and data enrichment.
- Hands-on experience with Identity Resolution, Match Rules, Reconciliation Rules, and identity stitching strategies.
- Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, WSProxy, and SQL.
- Practical experience with Email Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Mobile Studio.
- Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive email design, and dark mode optimization.
- Understanding of data security, PII protection, consent management, and real-time/event-driven integrations.
- Strong knowledge of automation orchestration, error handling, and performance optimization.
- English proficiency at B2 level or above, both written and spoken.
Nice to have: Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I, Platform Developer II, or Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA).
Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Work model: Hybrid – 2 days per week in the office.
