Tell us more about the role. What will this person be doing on a day-to-day basis? What are the main objectives for this role?
- Hands-on Salesforce QA role focused primarily on manual testing today, with plans to move toward automation.
- One QA will support the Salesforce Field Service workstream, including supply chain processes such as parts, distribution, and returns.
- Get involved early in the development lifecycle to understand what is being built and the underlying business need.
- Create test plans and test cases that can eventually be leveraged for automation.
- Perform investigative testing rather than simply executing predefined test cases.
- Validate that solutions meet both technical requirements and the actual business process.
- Work closely with systems analysts, developers, implementation partners, and business stakeholders.
- Deep Salesforce experience.
- Salesforce Field Service experience, particularly for the Field Service workstream.
- Strong manual QA/testing experience.
- Ability to create test plans and detailed test cases.
- SQL for backend/data validation.
- Strong understanding of business processes and ability to identify when a solution may not meet the actual business need.
- Investigative testing mindset someone who will dig into the system and try to break it.
- Comfortable challenging developers/analysts when necessary.
- Experience working in an FDA-regulated environment/with traceability.
- Experience working alongside automation teams is beneficial; does not need to personally automate tests.
- Jira; Seffer is a nice-to-have.
