About This Role
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud professional to own and develop our B2B marketing automation ecosystem, ensuring operational excellence, governance and continuous optimisation. This role combines strategic platform ownership with hands-on execution across newsletter management, customer journey automation, stakeholder engagement, data-driven decision making and marketing compliance. Working closely with Marketing, Sales, IT and external partners, you will help deliver personalised communications and scalable marketing programmes that support business growth.
What You’ll Do
- Own Salesforce Marketing Cloud end-to-end, including platform operations, governance, roadmap planning and quality management
- Ensure GDPR-compliant processes by collaborating with Privacy teams and relevant stakeholders
- Partner with IT teams and technical specialists to improve platform configuration, integrations and data flows
- Manage relationships with external agencies, marketing partners and technical suppliers
- Manage the full lifecycle of B2B newsletters, including planning, audience segmentation, personalisation, quality assurance and delivery
- Collaborate with Go-to-Market, Product Marketing and other stakeholders to align content priorities, messaging and approval processes
- Continuously enhance newsletter frameworks, templates and automation capabilities
- Design, build and optimise multi-step marketing journeys, including lead nurturing, behavioural triggers and event-driven communications
- Integrate Salesforce Sales Cloud data and triggers to enable highly personalised customer communications
- Own engagement scoring methodologies and coordinate enhancements with Sales and analytics stakeholders
- Manage and approve lead capture forms and related processes
- Analyse newsletter and automation performance to identify trends, opportunities and actionable recommendations
- Facilitate cross-functional alignment workshops with Marketing, Product, Sales and Technology stakeholders
Who You Are
- Several years of experience in digital marketing, CRM, marketing automation or lifecycle marketing
- Strong expertise in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Automation Studio and Journey Builder
- Experience working with Salesforce Sales Cloud and lead management processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
- Experience managing multiple priorities and external partners in a dynamic environment
- Analytical approach with the ability to translate performance data into business recommendations
- Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to delivery and continuous improvement
