Salesforce QA Tester/Business Analyst

This is a remote position.

McBride Consulting is supporting the New York State Department of Labor (NYS DOL) Unemployment Insurance Call Center Salesforce instance. This dual-focus role bridges requirements management, integration workflows, and quality assurance, ensuring that call center business needs and integration with the modernized claims system are accurately captured, mapped, and rigorously tested to deliver high-quality releases without disrupting live operations.

• Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Lead requirement workshops with NYS DOL stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document complex call center workflows and business rules.
  
• Backlog & User Story Management: Translate business needs and integration specifications into clear user stories, functional specifications, and detailed acceptance criteria for the development team.
  
• Test Scenario Design: Develop comprehensive SIT and E2E test scenarios—specifically targeting cross-system integration points, data validation, and real-time synchronization between Salesforce and the claims platform.
  
• Test Execution & Validation: Execute functional, integration, and UI test scripts to validate that system behavior and data handoffs match business expectations.
  
• Defect Tracking & Collaboration: Manage and log all test cases, execution results, and defects directly within Copado, coordinating closely with developers on integration fixes and re-testing.
  
• Release & Stakeholder Readiness: Maintain requirements traceability matrices and provide clear test execution summaries and coverage metrics to support deployment sign-off.
  

Requirements

Key Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: Minimum of 2+ years of combined experience in business analysis and quality assurance on IT consulting projects, with direct experience supporting Salesforce implementations.
  
• Requirements & Process Engineering: Strong background in stakeholder interviews, requirements elicitation, workflow mapping, and writing precise user stories with testable acceptance criteria for Salesforce Service Cloud and complex enterprise integrations.
  
• Testing Expertise: Proven track record of designing, managing, and executing System Integration Testing (SIT) and End-to-End (E2E) testing frameworks—specifically validating seamless data synchronization and cross-system touchpoints.
  
• Domain Context: Familiarity with Service Cloud concepts (Case management, call center/telephony integration, agent UI) and public sector or unemployment insurance workflows is strongly preferred.
  
• Process & Tooling: Hands-on experience using agile backlog tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps) alongside Copado for tracking requirements, test scripts, test suites, and defect logs within the Salesforce deployment lifecycle.
