Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Salesperson role based in Mombasa, with some flexibility to work from home. The Salesperson will identify and approach prospective clients, present insurance products and services, and explain policy features in a clear and accurate manner. Daily tasks include generating leads, scheduling and attending client meetings, preparing quotations, and following up to close sales while meeting set targets. The role involves maintaining ongoing relationships with existing clients, handling inquiries, supporting renewal processes, and ensuring high standards of customer satisfaction. The Salesperson will also collaborate with internal teams to process applications, update records, and participate in sales campaigns and training sessions.
Qualifications

• Relevant sales and customer service skills, including prospecting, relationship-building, and negotiating with clients.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities, with capacity to explain insurance products clearly and professionally.
• Basic numerical and analytical skills to interpret policy information, premiums, and benefits.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple client accounts, follow-ups, and reporting obligations.
• Comfort with using computers and common office software; familiarity with CRM or sales tracking tools is an advantage.
• Previous experience in insurance, financial services, or a related sales environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Certificate, diploma, or degree in business, sales, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work ethically, meet targets, and adapt to both office-based and remote working arrangements.
