About the role We're hiring a Senior / Staff-level engineer to focus on building and improving our data processing, automation, and API infrastructure. Depending on your interests, there's room to work on user-facing full stack product and AI-focused features as well. We're looking for people to lead projects with multiple engineers, mentor folks and in general take on a leadership role in the team. What you'll do You will design and build software capable of reaching millions of users You will partner with product managers, designers, and analysts to deeply understand the needs of our users and build a product that serves those needs You will develop and execute against both short and long-term roadmaps, making effective tradeoffs between business impact, user experience, and a high-quality technical foundation You will own relationships with other engineering teams and collaborate with other functions Write high-quality, performant code, and support our peer teams throughout the company doing the same What we're seeking Must have You are familiar with web application backends (specifically Java and Spring Boot) You are familiar with managing infrastructure on AWS 5+ years of professional experience US work authorization preferred, but can work with all candidates on a case by case basis This position can be done remotely from the US Nice to have Experience planning sprints BS or MS in computer science, engineering, or other technical degrees You are energized by working on both backend and frontend projects
