SAP Basis Consultant

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to join a team that manages and optimizes complex ERP landscapes. In this role, you’ll take ownership of maintaining system infrastructure, supporting integrations, and ensuring reliability across SAP environments. You’ll work on both on-premise and cloud-based systems, keeping them secure, scalable, and running smoothly.

What you’ll do

• Maintain, support, and improve system infrastructure for ERP environments.
• Manage SAP Web Dispatcher, routers, and system connections.
• Oversee installations, upgrades, and release management for SAP landscapes.
• Enable and maintain trusted connections between SAP systems and external applications.
• Support client-specific technical issues across various system layers.
• Administer user access and integration (CUA, AD, SSO).
• Design and maintain high-availability SAP Basis environments when needed.
• Manage transport mechanisms, system processes, batch jobs, gateways, and communication channels.
• Maintain SSL/TLS certificates and web routing availability.
• Oversee SAML SSO and integration with client agents.
• Handle system reorganization, backups, and database (HANA and HANA Cloud) maintenance.
• Support ETL data exchange, client copies, and SAP certification processes.
• Document systems, procedures, and APIs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose new tools or techniques to enhance team efficiency.

What you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience in SAP Basis or a related technical role.
• Strong knowledge of NetWeaver (up to version 7.5.1) and SAP ERP components (ERP, Fiori, BI, Solution Manager, SAP Cloud connectors, SAP routers, etc.).
• Experience with on-premise and cloud ERP environments (SAP BTP, AWS, GCP, or similar).
• Solid understanding of HANA and relational databases.
• Proven hands-on experience with installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting SAP systems (R/3, AnyDB, and S/4HANA).
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and automation tools for SAP landscapes.
• Strong knowledge of SSO, Trust, and certificate management between SAP components.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Maintenance Optimizer, Download Manager, or Solution Manager.
• Understanding of development, certification, and release processes within SAP environments.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
