SAP Build Process Automation (SAP BPA)

Your Key Responsibilities

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced SAP Build Process Automation (BPA) Expert to lead the design, development, and deployment of intelligent automation solutions across business processes. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Build Process Automation (formerly SAP Intelligent RPA), workflow managemesnt, business rules, and integration with SAP and non-SAP systems, enabling business transformation through automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SAP Build Process Automation solutions, including process automation, workflows, and business rules.
• Analyze business processes and identify automation opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Design, develop, test, and deploy automated workflows using SAP Build Process Automation.
• Integrate SAP BPA with SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BTP services, and third-party applications.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical automation solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior consultants and developers.
• Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, security standards, and governance models.
• Perform automation solution documentation, including design, configuration, and operational guides.
• Support UAT, go-live activities, and post-production support.
• Work closely with functional and technical teams to deliver high-quality automation solutions within timelines.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP BTP and automation innovations and recommend improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of SAP experience with 3+ years hands-on experience in SAP Build Process Automation / SAP Intelligent RPA.
• Strong understanding of:
  • SAP Build Process Automation (Processes, Forms, Business Rules)
  • SAP BTP architecture
  • REST APIs, OData services

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA or ECC integration.
• Knowledge of workflow automation, exception handling, and error management.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple automation initiatives.

Preferred Skills:

• SAP BTP or SAP Build Process Automation certification.
• Experience with other RPA tools (e.g., UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism).
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum project methodologies.
