Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced SAP BTP / CAP Java Developer to join our delivery team. The role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of modern cloud-based SAP solutions using Java, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP).

You will contribute to the development of scalable and maintainable enterprise applications while working closely with customers and project teams throughout the delivery lifecycle - from requirements analysis and solution design to development, testing, and go-live.

Experience or domain knowledge in Tax is considered a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

Application Development

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java
• Build cloud-native applications and services using SAP CAP
• Develop scalable and maintainable solutions following modern software development principles
• Implement and integrate services and APIs within the SAP ecosystem

SAP BTP Development

• Design and implement solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Work with relevant BTP services and capabilities to support application integration and extensibility
• Contribute to the implementation of modern SAP cloud architectures

Solution Design & Integration

• Translate business and technical requirements into robust application designs
• Support the integration of SAP BTP applications with SAP and external systems
• Ensure solutions are designed with scalability, maintainability, and performance in mind

Consulting and Customer Collaboration

• Collaborate closely with customers, developers, and functional consultants throughout the project lifecycle
• Participate in requirements gathering and technical workshops
• Support customers from specification and development through testing and go-live
• Act as a reliable technical contact for development-related topics

Technical Requirements

Must-have

• Several years of professional experience in Java development
• Hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP)
• Good knowledge and practical experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Understanding of modern cloud application architectures and integration concepts
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice-to-have

• Experience or strong domain knowledge in Tax/Tax-related processes
