SAP Consultant Supply Chain Management

Responsibilities

• Executes SAP IBP implementation and supports the transition from SAP APO to SAP Integrated Business Plannin (SAP IBP)
• Executes configuration, testing, documentation, and deployment activities within SAP IBP
• Analyze existing SAP APO planning processes and support their transition into SAP IBP
• Collaborate with business departments to translate business requirements into SAP IBP solutions
• Support data migration, integration testing, and business validation activities.
• Configure and optimize SAP IBP planning processes based on business requirements
• Support interfaces between SAP IBP, SAP APO, SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and external systems
• Provide application support during project implementation and hypercare.
• Create functional specifications and support technical implementation together with development teams
• Collaborate closely with the global SAP IBP Project Lead and external implementation partners

Skills

• University degree in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Industrial Engineering or a related field
• 3–5+ years of experience in SAP APO (DP, SNP, PP/DS / gATP)
• Initial hands-on experience with SAP IBP (Demand & Supply) or strong willingness to specialize in SAP IBP
• Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain Planning processes
• Experience with SAP ERP and integration concepts, with SAP Integration Suite or SAP BTP and Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA
• Experience in SAP implementation or rollout projects
• Strong analytical thinking and structured problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills, experienced working in agile project environments
• Fluent English language skills (German language skills are an advantage)
