SAP CPI Integration Developer

We are looking for an experienced SAP CPI Integration Developer to support the integration architecture of an international SAP S/4HANA transformation and rollout program. The consultant will design, develop and maintain integrations using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI), connecting SAP S/4HANA with applications such as IFS, ServiceNow and a Service Technician application. A key focus will be ensuring reliable end-to-end integration across service-related processes, including Service Requests, Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing. What you'll be doing Design, develop, configure and maintain integration flows using SAP Integration Suite / Cloud Integration (CPI). Build interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and non-SAP applications, particularly IFS and other applications within the Service landscape. Develop and maintain synchronous and asynchronous integration scenarios. Configure mappings, routing, transformations and message processing. Work with integration technologies and protocols such as REST, SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML, JSON, SFTP and HTTPS. Implement monitoring, error handling and exception-management mechanisms. Troubleshoot complex integration issues and perform root-cause analysis. Work closely with SAP EDI, S/4HANA functional, BTP development and architecture teams. Support integration requirements for Service/Order Management, Shipping, Delivery, Billing and Invoicing. Ensure secure and scalable connectivity between cloud and on-premise applications. Support migration of existing interfaces into the target S/4HANA integration landscape. Participate in integration testing, cutover and go-live activities. Contribute to integration standards and reusable solutions for future rollouts. Maintain technical interface and integration documentation What You'll Bring Along Minimum 4-7 years of hands-on experience with SAP CPI / SAP Integration Suite – Cloud Integration. Experience designing and developing complex integration flows. Strong knowledge of: REST and SOAP, OData, IDoc, XML and JSON, Message Mapping, Routing and transformation, API-based integrations Experience integrating SAP S/4HANA with non-SAP systems. Strong understanding of integration patterns and error-handling concepts. Experience with interface monitoring and troubleshooting. Understanding of authentication, certificates and secure connectivity. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Professional proficiency in English or German is required.
