Your Role In The Project
As an experienced SAP ePP/DS Functional Consultant, you are responsible for converting legacy APO DP&S planning processes into modern SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS solutions. You will ensure seamless integration with advanced planning platforms such as OMP. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business users, developers, and solution architects, translating planning requirements into scalable SAP solutions. You will independently lead the migration of APO DP&S functionality into SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS.

Your Role In The Project
As an experienced SAP ePP/DS Functional Consultant, you are responsible for converting legacy APO DP&S planning processes into modern SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS solutions. You will ensure seamless integration with advanced planning platforms such as OMP. In this role, you will act as a bridge between business users, developers, and solution architects, translating planning requirements into scalable SAP solutions. You will independently lead the migration of APO DP&S functionality into SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS.
Your Responsibilities
- Business Analysis & Requirements Management: Lead requirements workshops with planners and business users, analyze and document business requirements, and translate them into user stories and IT specifications. Requirements and backlog items are managed in Azure DevOps.
- Solution Design: Design end-to-end production planning solutions, define process flows and functional specifications, and guide developers regarding user exits, enhancements, and UI requirements. Ensure alignment with industry- and company-specific planning templates.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Create test scenarios and planning data, execute functional and integration tests, and validate custom developments. Present tested solutions to users and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as well as defect resolution.
- Documentation & Training: Create functional documentation, test scripts, and training materials, and conduct user training in English and German. Prepare go-live readiness materials and support knowledge transfer.
- Go-Live & Hypercare: Provide end-user coaching during cutover and hypercare phases, analyze and resolve incidents, and coordinate issue management via Solution Manager and Azure DevOps. Ensure the stabilization of planning processes post-deployment.
- Work Experience: At least 8 years of experience with SAP Production Planning solutions, proven experience in multiple SAP APO DP&S implementations as well as several SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS projects. You also bring experience in global template rollouts and manufacturing transformations.
- SAP Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA ePP/DS, SAP APO DP&S, Detailed Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Production Planning, heuristics, scheduling strategies, as well as the operation and analysis of planning boards.
- Process Understanding: Strong understanding of production planning processes, supply chain planning, manufacturing operations, and end-to-end planning processes.
- Tools & Methodologies: Proficient handling of Azure DevOps, SAP Solution Manager, Confluence, agile delivery methodologies, user story management, and test management processes.
- Soft Skills: Strong skills in stakeholder management and workshop facilitation. You are capable of independently leading workstreams from requirements gathering through the hypercare phase.
- Languages: Fluent in German and English.
