SAP S/4HANA EWM Consultant | Life Sciences | 12 Months | Fully Remote, nearshore

A regulated manufacturing client is building out the warehouse workstream on an S/4HANA programme and needs experienced EWM consultants to take design and configuration ownership.

The work

You will sit close to the business, translating warehouse and logistics requirements into working EWM design, then carrying that through configuration, testing and site deployment. Expect to run design sessions directly with operational stakeholders, resolve dependencies with the manufacturing, quality and supply chain streams, and hold the quality bar on design documentation.

Background we are looking for

• A decade or more configuring SAP EWM, across embedded and decentralised deployments
• Delivery experience on S/4HANA programmes rather than support or AMS only
• Genuine command of goods receipt, putaway, replenishment, picking, packing and despatch, and how the underlying architecture supports them
• Practical understanding of how a warehouse actually runs, ideally in a process manufacturing setting
• Confident producing design documentation, configuration guides and training material to a standard that survives audit
• Able to facilitate workshops and present solutions to a non technical audience
• Used to distributed teams across multiple countries and time zones

Useful additions

• Integration between EWM and manufacturing execution systems
• Pharmaceutical, biotech or medical device background
• Exposure to structured change control and ALM tooling on large programmes

The detail

• 12 month contract with strong likelihood of extension
• Fully remote. Preference for candidates based in Poland or Romania
• Business fluent English required. Further European languages welcome
