SAP FICO Consultant

We are seeking a Chief SAP FICO professional to lead finance process design and SAP S/4HANA FI delivery across core submodules. You will drive configuration, cross-module integration, testing, and support to keep financial operations accurate and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Lead finance process mapping and translate business rules into SAP S/4HANA FI solutions
• Design SAP FI configurations across general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and asset accounting
• Drive cross-module integration with areas such as MM and SD to ensure accurate accounting entries
• Define and execute test scenarios in quality environments before production releases
• Coordinate production deployments for new configurations and improvements
• Resolve support tickets, diagnose root causes, and correct operational issues
• Apply SAP recommended notes and ensure system stability for finance operations
• Collaborate with finance stakeholders to validate outcomes for local accounting and financial statements
• Document configurations, process flows, and operational procedures to support auditability
• Guide prioritization of enhancements to improve reliability and efficiency in FI processes

Requirements

• 7+ years of SAP FI experience (S/4HANA) across FI-GL, FI-AP, FI-AR, FI-AA
• Proven leadership experience guiding finance process mapping and SAP FI delivery
• Strong project delivery skills across configuration, testing, and production release cycles
• Advanced SAP FI customizing skills for accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and asset accounting
• Solid integration knowledge with logistics modules such as MM and SD to ensure correct accounting postings
• Strong financial analysis skills
• Strong financial services knowledge and domain understanding
• Solid financial statements knowledge (local accounting)
• Strong troubleshooting skills for incident handling and operational error correction
• Clear communication skills to collaborate with finance and cross-functional stakeholders
