SAP FICO Specialist - Hybrid Setup

The SAP FICO Specialist is responsible for delivering SAP solutions across the Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO) modules, ensuring they meet business requirements and are efficiently integrated with other modules. The primary objective is to support the business in optimizing financial processes, providing solutions to enhance business performance, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations in SAP FICO.

Job Description:

SAP FICO Configuration and Implementation

• Take a leading role in configuring, implementing, and optimizing SAP FI and CO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders.

Business Process Analysis and Solution Design

• Collaborate with finance and controlling teams to analyze business requirements, design efficient SAP FICO solutions, and document functional specifications.

System Support and Troubleshooting

• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP FICO functionalities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in financial and controlling modules, coordinating with other SAP functional teams when necessary.

User Training and Documentation

• Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end users.
• Provide hands-on guidance to business users to ensure proper system usage.

Testing and Quality Assurance

• Lead testing activities for SAP FICO processes, including unit testing, integration testing, and support for User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Ensure that the solutions meet business requirements and quality standards.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with other SAP functional teams (e.g., MM, SD, HR, PP) to ensure smooth integration and alignment of financial processes with other business functions.

Continuous Improvement

• Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.
• Propose and implement changes to optimize SAP FICO functionalities and improve business efficiency.

Project Participation and Leadership

• Contribute to the success of SAP implementation and upgrade projects.
• Provide guidance to junior consultants and assist in managing project timelines and deliverables.

Qualifications and Skills:

• 3 – 6 years of experience in SAP FICO, with hands-on experience in the configuration, implementation, and support of the FI and CO modules.
• Strong understanding of SAP FICO components such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), and Profit Center Accounting (PCA).
• Knowledge of integration points between SAP FICO and other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
• Experience with SAP reporting tools and transaction codes (e.g., FBL1N, FBL5N, FB50, KSB1).
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with both technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Ability to document processes, create functional specifications, and manage user training.
