๐ฃ Would you like to join a company that puts people at the heart of its concerns? We are waiting for you! Since 2007, Extia, an IT consulting company, has been offering a unique approach in its field by combining well-being at work and performance.
Our philosophy at Extia is โFirst who, then what", so let's go for it!
๐First who?
- Collaborative, you enjoy working with others, sharing knowledge, and contributing to a supportive team environment.
- Analytical, you approach challenges thoughtfully, pay attention to details, and enjoy finding practical solutions.
- Proactive, you take ownership of your responsibilities, stay curious, and continuously look for ways to improve.
This position is primarily remote, with occasional on-site presence required for meetings (Bucharest).
๐Then what?
We are looking for a SAP HR & Payroll Functional Analyst to join our clientโs global ERP team and support the Level 2 Application Management Services (AMS) team. You will be responsible for investigating and resolving SAP issues across Human Resources, Payroll and Cross Application Time Sheet (CATS), while supporting functional enhancements, testing and business requirements. You will also contribute to the transition of SAP services to the in-house team and work closely with business and technical stakeholders to ensure reliable and high-quality service delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate and resolve SAP incidents, system errors, configuration issues and transactional failures across HR, Payroll and CATS, ensuring timely resolution within agreed service levels.
- Analyze business requirements and implement functional enhancements and catalogue requests within the SAP environment.
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing and non-regression testing, while supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Maintain clear and accurate functional documentation, including functional specifications, test scripts, procedures and other relevant documentation.
- Manage transport requests and post-deployment activities to ensure changes are correctly moved across environments.
- Collaborate with Level 1 and Level 1.5 support teams on incident triage, escalations and knowledge sharing, escalating complex issues to Level 3 when required.
- Work closely with Business Process Owners, Business Analysts and key users to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
- Raise, track and manage vendor support cases, following up on issues and escalating when necessary.
- Monitor ticket trends and identify opportunities to improve support processes and first-line resolution.
- Collaborate with other SAP analysts across teams and IT hubs, contributing to knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
- Support the transition of SAP services from external providers to the internal team.
Requirements:
- Practical experience in SAP, ideally within HR, Payroll and/or CATS.
- SAP S/4HANA certification.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles.
- Experience with ITSM tools, preferably ServiceNow.
- Fluent in English and French.
