SAP IBP Jr Integration Consultant — Job Description Position Summary The SAP IBP Jr Integration Consultant will support the integration of SAP IBP with SAP ECC/S4HANA and other third-party systems, working closely under the guidance of senior team members. Key Responsibilities Assist in configuring and monitoring CI-DS jobs, IBP Add-on settings, and basic data load/extraction activities under senior guidance. Support testing and troubleshooting of integration setups, documenting issues and basic root-cause findings. Help maintain integration documentation, including data flow notes and configuration steps, for internal knowledge sharing. Monitor integration logs, flag errors, and escalate complex issues to senior consultants or the Integration Architect. Participate in data load activities — inbound loads into IBP and outbound extractions — following established procedures. Support new user setup, job scheduling, and notification configuration within CI-DS as directed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (functional consultants, PMs) to understand basic integration requirements. Continue learning SAP IBP data model, integration protocols (OData, RFC, FTP/SFTP), and best practices through structured training and on-the-job mentorship. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required: 0–2 years of relevant experience in SAP integration, IT, or a related technical field (internships/academic projects with SAP exposure welcome). Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Foundational understanding of integration concepts — APIs, FTP/SFTP, RFC — and willingness to quickly develop hands-on skills in SAP IBP integration tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset with attention to detail. Clear written and verbal communication skills in English. Adaptability and eagerness to learn new tools and techniques in a fast-paced, global delivery environment. Nice to Have: Exposure to SAP IBP, ECC/S4HANA, CI-DS, or SAP BTP through coursework, internship, or certification. Basic knowledge of SAP IBP data model. SAP-related certifications.
