SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Functional Architect

SAP PLM Functional Architect We're seeking an experienced SAP PLM Functional Architect to support a high-visibility DoD program. This is a client-facing role where you'll lead Product Lifecycle Management workshops, drive solution design, and help organizations modernize engineering, configuration management, and product data processes through SAP S/4HANA and Teamcenter integration. What We're Looking For 6+ years of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) functional configuration experience in an implementation or consulting role At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations Hands-on experience integrating Teamcenter with SAP using: SAP ECTR Teamcenter Gateway BAPIs IDocs API-based interfaces Experience with: BOM Synchronization Material Governance Document Management Engineering Change Orders (ECO) Engineering Change Requests (ECR) Engineering Change Management (ECM) Demonstrated expertise with: Engineering-to-Order (ETO) processes Engineering BOMs (EBOMs) Variant Structures Configuration Control Change Management Experience configuring: SAP Engineering Change Management (ECM) Change Masters Effectivity Rules Workflow Processes Change Impact Analysis Experience with SAP Document Management System (DMS), including: Document Types Version Control Status Networks CAD Integration Workflows Strong knowledge of PLM integration with: Production Planning (PP) Materials Management (MM) Controlling (CO) Project System (PS) Experience supporting project manufacturing environments, including: Project Stock Individual Requirements Materials WBS-driven Engineering Structures Ability to define engineering data governance, release processes, ownership models, and version-control strategies Ability to write functional design documentation, functional specifications, and UAT test scripts Ability to lead workshops and facilitate discussions with engineering, configuration management, program management, production planning, and sustainment teams Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Experience Active Security Clearance SAP or Siemens Teamcenter certification related to PLM, engineering change management, or product data management Aerospace, defense contractor, government contracting, or DoD experience SAP S/4HANA 2022 or 2023 PLM experience Experience with: SAP Variant Configuration (LO-VC/AVC) Configurable Products Engineering Change Processes Configuration Baselines Experience with: CAD Data Management SAP Engineering Control Center (ECTR) AutoVue Teamcenter-to-SAP integrations Familiarity with: EIA-649 MIL-STD-31000 DoD Configuration Management Standards Familiarity with SAP Quality Management (QM) integration Experience with SAP Fiori and CDS-based analytics for engineering, BOM, and change-management reporting Familiarity with SAP Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) Travel Up to 75% travel. This opportunity is ideal for a senior SAP PLM professional who enjoys working directly with clients, leading engineering transformation initiatives, and designing scalable product lifecycle management solutions. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP PLM expertise with Teamcenter integration experience and can bridge engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and sustainment requirements into a unified enterprise solution. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Neptune Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $145.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
