SAP Project Systems (PS) Functional Consultant

SAP PS Functional Consultant We're seeking an experienced SAP Project System (PS) Functional Consultant to support a high-visibility DoD program. This is a client-facing role where you'll lead Project System workshops, drive solution design, and help organizations improve project planning, scheduling, cost control, and reporting within an SAP S/4HANA environment. What We're Looking For 6+ years of SAP Project System (PS) functional configuration experience in an implementation or consulting role At least two full lifecycle SAP implementations Hands-on experience configuring: Project Profiles Coding Masks WBS Templates Standard Project Structures Standard Networks Network Profiles Network and Activity Types Milestones Experience integrating external scheduling tools or Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) with SAP PS Deep expertise with: WBS Structures Network Scheduling Scheduling Types Relationships and Constraints Reduction Strategies Factory Calendars Milestone Planning Experience configuring: PS Progress Analysis Earned Value Reporting Progress Versions Measurement Methods Progress Determination Strong knowledge of: Budget Planning and Control Availability Control Commitment Management Cost Planning Results Analysis Settlement Rules Experience integrating SAP PS with: Production Planning (PP) Materials Management (MM) Controlling (CO) Sales and Distribution (SD) Experience assigning production orders and procurement activities to WBS elements and working with project stock Ability to write functional design documents, functional specifications, and UAT test scripts Ability to lead workshops and facilitate discussions with business stakeholders, program managers, project controls teams, and finance organizations Ability to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field (or equivalent experience) Preferred Experience SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Project Systems or related SAP PS certification Active Security Clearance Department of Defense (DoD), aerospace, defense contractor, or government contracting experience SAP S/4HANA 2022 or 2023 Project System experience Experience with: Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) IPMDAR BCWS, BCWP, and ACWP reporting DCMA schedule assessments Experience with engineer-to-order manufacturing environments Familiarity with: Project Manufacturing Management and Optimization (PMMO) SAP PEO SAP Fiori reporting CDS-based analytics SAP Financial Project Control (FPC) Commercial Project Management (CPM) SAP EPPM Portfolio Management Prior consulting experience supporting architecture, functional design, client advisory services, and delivery governance Travel Up to 75% travel. This opportunity is ideal for a senior SAP PS consultant who enjoys working directly with clients, leading blueprint workshops, and designing scalable project management, scheduling, cost control, and reporting solutions within SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate combines deep SAP Project System expertise with strong program controls knowledge and can bridge project management, scheduling, production, and finance requirements into an integrated enterprise solution. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Neptune Beach, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $145.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
