Role Description

The SAP Specialist OTC / EDI will support and optimize Order-to-Cash (OTC) and Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes within BMT Group.

In this role based in Oostkamp, the specialist will configure and maintain SAP modules relevant to OTC, collaborate with business stakeholders to map and improve processes, and ensure accurate and reliable master data.

Day-to-day tasks include analyzing process performance, troubleshooting SAP and EDI issues, coordinating with IT and business teams, and documenting solutions and best practices.

The role also involves contributing to SAP-related projects, assisting with testing and training, and ensuring that SAP FICO integrations support smooth OTC operations.

Some work from home is acceptable in line with business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Business Process design and optimization, particularly in Order-to-Cash environments.
• Solid Analytical Skills to diagnose issues, interpret data, and propose effective SAP and EDI solutions.
• Experience in Consulting or internal business partnering, working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAP configurations.
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO and related OTC functionalities, including integrations with EDI and other SAP modules.
• Proficiency in Master Data management, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and governance across SAP systems.
• Relevant technical or business degree (e.g., Information Systems, Engineering, Business) or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of EDI standards and interfaces in an industrial or manufacturing context is an advantage.
• Effective communication skills, ability to work in a hybrid setup in Oostkamp, and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
