Lead Validation & Compliance across complex SAP transformation programmes

Our client is a growing international management consulting business supporting organisations through complex SAP and digital transformation programmes across highly regulated and process-driven industries.

We are looking for an experienced Validation Lead to take a leading role in validation, quality and compliance activities across major SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.

This is an opportunity for a senior consultant who wants to combine hands-on validation expertise with strategic advisory, stakeholder leadership, team development and practice growth.

The Opportunity

As Validation Lead, you will help clients navigate complex validation and compliance requirements throughout major SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes.

You will work across organisations where quality, compliance, traceability and controlled processes are critical to successful technology implementation.

The role combines project delivery with the opportunity to help shape and grow a broader Governance, Quality & Compliance capability within the consulting business.

You will work with senior stakeholders across IT, Quality, Operations and Business functions, while remaining close to project delivery and providing hands-on subject-matter leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Computer System Validation (CSV) activities across complex SAP S/4HANA transformation programmes
• Define validation strategies and Validation Master Plans (VMPs)
• Develop risk-based validation and compliance approaches
• Support clients in navigating complex quality, regulatory and compliance requirements
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders across IT, Quality, Operations and Business functions
• Lead validation and compliance workstreams across major transformation programmes
• Help establish and develop a broader Governance, Quality & Compliance consulting capability
• Shape consulting propositions, methodologies and service offerings
• Lead or contribute to proposals, RFPs and commercial discussions
• Identify opportunities to create additional value for clients
• Mentor and develop consultants
• Contribute to thought leadership, market development and best-practice approaches

Your Background

We are looking for a genuine Management Consultant who combines strong validation expertise with consulting experience, leadership capability and commercial awareness.

You will ideally have experience gained within one or more of the following environments:

• Pharmaceutical / Pharma
• Healthcare
• Medical Technology / MedTech
• Manufacturing
• Industrial / Process Manufacturing
• Chemical / Life Sciences-related industries
• Consumer products with highly regulated production environments
• Other industries where GxP, quality, validation or controlled processes are important

Your Experience

You should bring a combination of:

• Significant experience in Computer System Validation (CSV)
• Experience across SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation programmes
• Strong understanding of validation and compliance within regulated or highly controlled environments
• Experience with GxP principles, where applicable
• Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11 and/or EU Annex 11 would be highly beneficial
• Experience with risk-based validation approaches
• Experience developing Validation Master Plans and validation strategies
• Proven ability to advise and influence senior stakeholders
• Experience leading teams, workstreams or consulting engagements
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• A consulting mindset with the ability to move between strategic advisory and hands-on delivery

Location

Germany – remote / hybrid
