SATIC: Data Migration Consultant (Senior Manager)

The role sits within a rapidly growing part of PwC’s Data Modernisation team within our Consulting practice. You will be an integral part of the team responsible for the delivery of data solutions across a range of sectors. You will have access to all of the latest training and development tools and the support of the wider PwC network, including any necessary certifications.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in relevant subject areas such as Finance, Business, Data or Technology

Experience required:

The candidate will be achievement oriented with the ability to be flexible and adaptive on a daily basis. They will be able to work independently and as part of a team with a fast pace and a high energy that will translate into a high-quality output

• 10+ years of relevant experience in technology and data programmes (e.g. ERP/CRM/HR data migrations), with a proven track record of owning delivery outcomes across complex, multi-stream transformation programmes
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire distributed technical teams, including coaching senior staff, setting direction, and overseeing delivery quality across multiple programmes
• Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate decision-making, and communicate with senior leaders
• Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas – data migrations, data governance, data architecture, or large data transformation delivery
• Hands on experience and/ or certifications in ERP/CRM/HR systems such as Sage, Workday, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce
• Experience with cloud platforms, and familiarity with cloud deployment tools and practices.
• Demonstratable strength in technical review and refinement of team outputs in at least one of the following or equivalent languages: Python, SQL or applications: Informatica, Alteryx
• Proven IT skills (in at least the following programs): MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Fluent in English
• The ability and willingness to travel worldwide when the project dictates

Responsibilities of role:

We currently have opportunities for ambitious and highly motivated individuals with a proven history of delivering high-quality client projects, experience in data, and a background in technology and data programmes. This role will be accountable for the end-to-end delivery of data migration workstreams, leading client engagements, shaping solutions, and overseeing technical execution across programmes

• You will Apply strategic judgement and anticipate risks across programmes, proactively shaping delivery approaches that drive sustainable
• Own the definition and execution of data migration strategies, including migration planning, reconciliation, cutover and hypercare support
• Act as a point of escalation for programme-critical data issues, resolving blockers through cross-workstream coordination
• Lead and motivate onshore and offshore delivery teams, while ensuring alignment with PwC’s quality standards and programme outcomes
• Foster an inclusive, high-performing team culture that promotes collaboration, diversity of thought, psychological safety, and continuous development across global teams
• Engage directly with senior client stakeholders, translating business needs into pragmatic data migration solutions and providing regular programme updates
• Clearly communicate how data migration solutions align to broader business transformation objectives, helping clients understand interdependencies, trade-offs, and overall programme impact
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Consulting practice globally to deliver high-value outcomes for clients, especially those undergoing complex ERP/CRM/HR transformations
• Actively team across the PwC network, building strong internal relationships to co-develop assets, scale best practices, and enhance delivery impact through global collaboration
• Take responsibility for the development and refinement of PwC’s Data Migration methodologies, assets and accelerators, including the PwC Data Migration Suite
• Bring a forward-thinking mindset, staying current on trends in AI, data management, and cloud transformation, to drive innovation in client delivery

Desirable skill sets include:

• Experience in managing containerised applications (e.g. FastAPI, Kubernetes)
• Strong understanding of best practices in software development, version control, and code collaboration (e.g. GitHub)
• Experience leveraging GenAI tools and techniques in data or software delivery
• Exposure to finance, supply chain or HR business processes

The successful candidates will be required to work the standard office hours of the United Kingdom office. During the training period, attendance in the office will be required on a daily basis. Following the completion of training, candidates will transition to a hybrid working model. Please note that PwC SATIC is currently refining its hybrid working approach, and this remains subject to change in line with business, client, and team requirements.
