Job Description - Scheduling Coordinator (269352) Scheduling Coordinator - 269352 Description UGL Telecommunications is seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Scheduling Officer to join our Regional and Remote Program on a part-time (4 days per week) basis . This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility to work from both home and our Tullamarine office. Our team supports the installation and maintenance of fibre, wireless and satellite services across Australia, helping connect communities, businesses and essential services in some of the country's most geographically diverse locations. As a Scheduling Officer, you will play a critical role in coordinating field technicians and contractors, managing work schedules, and ensuring customer commitments and operational performance targets are achieved. In this role, you will: Coordinate and schedule field-based installation and maintenance activities across regional and remote Australia. Manage contractor allocations based on skills, location, workload and customer priorities. Respond to customer and contractor enquiries via phone, email and operational systems. Support same-day scheduling activities and urgent work requirements. Monitor workforce utilisation and scheduling efficiency. Assist in managing service levels, contractual obligations and operational KPIs. Build strong relationships with contractors, customers and internal stakeholders. Support operational planning, issue resolution and service recovery activities. Promote and uphold UGL's strong safety culture. You will bring: Essential Experience scheduling or coordinating work for a field-based workforce. Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. Ability to prioritise competing demands in a high-volume environment. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel and Word. Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving abilities. Highly Regarded Experience within telecommunications, utilities, field services, infrastructure or maintenance industries. Exposure to contractor management and workforce coordination. Experience working within SLA or KPI-driven operational environments.
