In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective school district partners — responsible for identifying the right decision-makers, starting meaningful conversations, and booking qualified discovery meetings for our Senior School Partnership Managers. This is a high-impact, top-of-funnel role. You won’t be closing deals, you’ll be opening them. Your success is measured by the quality and consistency of the pipeline you build, and you’ll work closely with experienced closers who convert your meetings into long-term district partnerships. What You'll Do Prospecting & Outreach Research target K–12 school districts and identify key decision-makers (Superintendents, Special Education Directors, CFOs) Execute outbound outreach via phone, email, and LinkedIn to generate qualified conversations Personalize messaging based on district size, geography, and student support needs Maintain a consistent daily activity cadence to keep your pipeline full Meeting Qualification & Handoff Book and confirm qualified discovery meetings between district contacts and our School Partnership Managers Brief your SPM partner before each meeting with relevant background on the contact and district Log all activity and opportunities in the CRM within 24 hours Focus on quality over quantity — every meeting you book should be worth your SPM’s time Collaboration & Growth Join weekly pipeline reviews with your SPM and VP of School Solutions Share market intelligence from your outreach — objections, trends, and competitive insights Continuously improve your messaging and approach based on what’s working Grow with us — this role is designed as a pathway to a full closing position on the School Solutions team You’re a fit for this role if you: Have 1–3 years of outbound sales, business development, or prospecting experience (B2B preferred) Are comfortable making cold calls and writing cold emails — and you’re good at it Communicate clearly and confidently with senior-level contacts Are highly organized and can manage a large prospect list without dropping the ball Take feedback well and iterate quickly Are motivated by metrics and take personal ownership of your numbers Have experience with CRM tools (Salesforce or similar) Bonus points if you: Have experience selling into K–12 school districts or the public sector Have a background in education, special education, or healthcare staffing Have worked in a team-selling model where you supported a senior closer About Point Quest Group Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
