We are currently seeking a SCM Analyst 1 to join our team at NR Finance Services CDMX. A Day in the Life of this Role: Collaborate daily with suppliers to ensure timely shipment of open orders and obtain ETA information for escalated situations. Expedite critical parts to resolve backorder situations and support uninterrupted operations. Work with team leaders to identify and implement solutions to supplier-related challenges. Monitor demand trends, analyze requirements, and forecast inventory replenishment needs. Interface with purchasing, technical, accounting, and shipping departments to resolve operational issues. Administer supplier penalty processes in accordance with Nissan guidelines. Manage supplier scorecard distribution and monitor key supplier performance indicators. Administer ordering processes for designated commodities supporting dealers and export customers. Coordinate special order requests to support internal business requirements. Maintain databases, prepare reports on critical backorders, and support invoice discrepancy resolution with suppliers and Nissan affiliates. Who We Are Looking For: Required: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university. Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, inventory control, or related functions. Experience using MRP systems or other dynamic inventory control systems. Strong English communication skills (oral and written). Analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with suppliers. Basic understanding of supply and demand planning principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Desired: Experience in master scheduling, inventory management, forecasting, engineering change control, or purchasing systems. Knowledge of inventory control and forecast planning tools. Experience working with supplier performance management processes. Ability to interface effectively with management and cross-functional teams. Availability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
