🔐 About the role

We are looking for a Product Owner with a cybersecurity background to join an international environment and contribute to the evolution of a large-scale Secure Email platform.

The role will involve working closely with the Product Manager, technical delivery teams, stakeholders and internal customers to define priorities, understand business and security needs, and ensure the continuous evolution of the product.

You will participate in the management and development of an email security solution designed to protect inbound and outbound communications against cybersecurity threats such as malware, viruses, spam and other malicious activity.

🎯 What will you be doing?

• Work closely with the Product Manager to define and refine the product roadmap.

• Understand customer needs, pain points and security requirements, engaging with the relevant stakeholders.

• Gather, analyze and prioritize requirements from different stakeholders.

• Translate business and security needs into clear epics, user stories and product specifications.

• Communicate the product vision, priorities and objectives to the technical delivery team.

• Analyze existing and new email security capabilities to identify opportunities to strengthen threat protection.

• Support the evaluation and implementation of new security functionalities.

• Ensure that the product complies with security, compliance and data privacy requirements.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums and Sprint Reviews.

• Act as a key point of contact for product-related questions from technical teams and stakeholders.

• Contribute to technical and functional product documentation.

• Prepare product presentations, status updates and reporting for management.

• Support the analysis and definition of new features and product improvements.

👉 To succeed in this role, it is important to have

• Previous experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst or Project Manager in technology environments.

• Professional background or solid knowledge of Cybersecurity.

• Knowledge of Email Security, Secure Email Gateways or email protection solutions.

• Experience gathering, analyzing and prioritizing business and technical requirements.

• Experience defining and refining epics and user stories.

• Good understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working with Agile development teams.

• Ability to work closely with technical teams, Product Managers and multiple stakeholders.

• Experience contributing to product roadmaps and feature definition.

• Understanding of security, compliance and data privacy requirements.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.

• C1 English level – mandatory, as English will be the main working language.

Valued

• Previous experience working specifically as a Cybersecurity Product Owner.

• Knowledge or hands-on experience with Proofpoint.

• Experience with enterprise-level Secure Email Gateway solutions.

• Experience working with large-scale cybersecurity platforms or services.

• Experience in international projects involving multiple business units or stakeholders.

• Knowledge of email threat protection mechanisms, including malware, spam and phishing protection.
