About the Opportunity

micro1 is engaging experienced Sales Agent (Securities & Commodities) professionals to contribute to a cutting-edge project focused on advancing frontier AI benchmarks.

In this role, you will use your real-world expertise in securities and commodities markets to create high-quality evaluation tasks that test how AI systems reason, make market decisions, communicate with clients, and navigate compliance requirements. You will work with substantial and varied materials, including market data, CSVs, PDFs, spreadsheets, client documentation, and regulatory references.

No prior AI experience is required. The focus is on your domain expertise, market judgment, compliance awareness, and ability to translate authentic financial workflows into rigorous evaluation tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop realistic, complex evaluation tasks that simulate real-world activities across securities and commodities trading, client advisory, sales, and compliance.
  • Create scenarios that reflect authentic day-to-day workflows rather than simplified or theoretical market situations.
  • Source, compile, organize, and curate supporting materials such as market data, client documentation, spreadsheets, technical materials, and applicable regulatory references.
  • Define appropriate market decisions, trading actions, or advisory responses and explain the reasoning behind them.
  • Incorporate relevant compliance, regulatory, and client-protection considerations into task scenarios and expected outcomes.
  • Develop comprehensive evaluation rubrics containing 35+ criteria to assess AI-agent performance.
  • Evaluate areas including market judgment, compliance sensitivity, client communication, documentation accuracy, and adherence to financial workflows.
  • Ensure tasks require meaningful interpretation of multiple sources and multi-step reasoning.
  • Collaborate with technical and research teams to clarify task objectives and refine benchmarking standards.
  • Maintain accuracy, realism, consistency, and professional quality across all submitted evaluation materials.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years of relevant professional experience within securities, commodities, brokerage, banking, trading platforms, or closely related financial-services environments.
  • Direct experience with compliance-driven financial workflows.
  • Practical experience executing trades and/or providing client advisory within securities or commodities markets.
  • Strong understanding of market operations, client interactions, and regulatory considerations.
  • Ability to review and interpret market data, technical documentation, client materials, and regulatory references.
  • Strong market judgment and compliance sensitivity when evaluating financial decisions or advisory actions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to produce clear, precise, and well-structured professional documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently on complex, deadline-driven deliverables.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active Series 7 and Series 63 licenses or an international equivalent.
  • Experience designing complex financial tasks, evaluation frameworks, or grading rubrics.
  • Strong familiarity with securities and commodities trading workflows.
  • Experience working with large or varied datasets, spreadsheets, PDFs, CSVs, and financial documentation.
  • Experience interpreting regulatory requirements and applying them to practical client or trading scenarios.
  • Prior experience working remotely and independently on complex projects.
  • Familiarity with AI evaluation, benchmarking, data annotation, or human-feedback projects is helpful but not required.
