What You'll Do
We are looking for a Securities Operations Specialist III to join our Principal Custody Solutions team! Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of asset servicing and securities settlement processes, you'll play a key role in supporting complex transactions while researching and resolving issues, mitigating risk, driving process improvements, and partnering with colleagues and business partners to deliver exceptional service. This position offers the opportunity to work independently, contribute to strategic initiatives, and play a meaningful role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of critical operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform balancing, reconciliation, research, and issue resolution activities for complex securities transactions while responding to high-priority client and business partner requests and ensuring service level commitments are met.
- Ensure coverage and manage tactical responsibilities as needed, while serving as a primary point of contact for complex securities transactions, escalated issues, and operational inquiries.
- Manage compliance and risk by adhering to internal controls, regulatory requirements, policies, and standard operating procedures, focusing on mitigating operational risk.
- Deliver training, coverage planning, coaching, and development opportunities to team members while serving as a resource for operational expertise.
- Drive strategic initiatives by leading or participating in process and technology improvements that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with internal partners and subject matter experts to identify process improvements, streamline procedures, and support department and business objectives.
- Lead small projects and contribute to broader organizational initiatives as needed.
- Demonstrate a positive, solution-oriented approach and a dedication to collaboration while working with a high degree of independence.

Who You Are
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in customer service, trust operations, asset servicer or financial services
- Proven experience in securities operations with a focus on process improvement.
- Effective Communication skills for collaboration across teams
- Excellent organizational and multitasking capabilities
- Ability to manage projects and initiatives
Salary Range Information
Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.Salary Range

The following salary ranges reflect market-specific compensation for this position across multiple job levels. Candidates will be evaluated to determine the appropriate job level based on their skills and experience.
- Securities Ops Spec III: $28.03- $32.79 / hr
- Securities Ops Spec IV: $32.79 - $38.61 / hr
Time Off Program
Personal Time Off (PTO) is provided to hourly (non-exempt) employees and provides a set amount of accrued time earned each pay period. Employees can use their PTO for vacation, personal or short-term illness.Pension Eligible

We are hiring for our Minneapolis, MN office only at this time.
Work Environments
This role offers in-office and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangements. You’ll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
Job Level
We are open to hiring at the next level, Securities Ops Specialist IV, for candidates who bring additional experience and proven leadership capabilities. To be considered for the next level, candidates must have:
- 7+ years of experience in Trust, custody, securities operations, financial services or business processing.
- Deep understanding of custody and trust accounting practices and full scope of the securities transaction processes.
- In-depth knowledge of custody and investment operations, and strong knowledge of DTCC, Fed, SWIFT, SEI Trust 3000, and other custody systems.
