New Jersey Resources is seeking a Security and Business Continuity Analyst to develop and maintain metrics and evaluate data to support departmental goals within the Security and Business Continuity department. This position supports data-driven security operations, business continuity planning, and cross-functional collaboration. Major Responsibilities • Develop, maintain, and analyze physical security metrics, dashboards, and data-driven reports. • Assist with access control reporting, video surveillance system review, badge provisioning, and area access reviews. • Monitor and escalate threat intelligence data to management to support organizational security awareness. • Assist management with the planning, coordinating, and support of tabletop exercises, emergency drills, and scenario-based preparedness activities. • Track ongoing security and business continuity projects to assist management with timely completion. • Collaborate with internal departments, external agencies, and operations teams on physical security and business continuity initiatives. • Assist with coordination of security and business continuity training programs. • Support the development and maintenance of Business Impact Analysis across the organization. • Support security compliance activities, policy development, and administrative items, as needed. Position Requirements: • Bachelors degree in Business, Data Science, Data Analytics or related field. • 1-3 years relevant experience including security analytics, business continuity, risk management, intelligence analysis, operational reporting, or data analytics. • Experience developing reports, dashboards, metrics, and trend analyses using Excel, Power BI, or similar reporting tools. • Experience with security technologies, including access control, video management, incident management, or security monitoring systems, is preferred. • Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with ability to identify and evaluate security trends, risks and issues, and support the implementation of security programs and initiatives across the organization. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization. • Attention to details, responsiveness, and good judgment are important. • Knowledge of security computing technology and applications is desirable. • Travel may for professional conferences or training opportunities as needed. • Occasional after-hours availability may be required to support emergency management, business continuity, or other critical business events. * The above job description is reflective of the primary duties of this position and in no way limits the supervisor from assigning any other duties, responsibilities or initiatives as deemed necessary. Other Details: Location type is Hybrid, 3 days onsite, 2 days remote. Compensation: Expected base pay range for this role will be $72,000- $97,000. Base pay is based on several factors including, experience, skills, and knowledge. This role will be eligible to participate in an annual short term incentive program.
