Security Architect

We are looking for an experienced Security Architect to join an international technology environment and support security architecture, risk assessment, and governance activities across business and technology initiatives.

This is a consulting-focused role combining security architecture reviews, cloud security assessments, vendor assessments, and security governance. You will work closely with technology teams, architects, business stakeholders, and other security functions to identify risks and provide practical security recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Review solution concepts, architectures, and technical documentation to identify applicable security standards, potential risks, and required security controls.
• Perform Security Architecture Reviews, Cloud Security Assessments, and Vendor Security Assessments.
• Assess security aspects related to:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • authentication and authorization
  • network architecture and segmentation
  • encryption and data protection
  • logging and monitoring
  • security controls and risk management
• Review firewall, proxy, server internet access, and connectivity requests, assessing business use cases, communication paths, protocols, security controls, monitoring requirements, and data-processing implications.
• Prepare clear security recommendations, assessment reports, and decision-support materials for business and technology stakeholders.
• Provide advisory support regarding security architecture, standards, policies, and governance.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security review methodologies, assessment frameworks, and documentation standards.
• Collaborate with architects, infrastructure teams, cloud teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure security requirements are properly addressed.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience in Security Architecture, Cybersecurity Architecture, or a closely related security role.
• Hands-on experience conducting security architecture reviews and risk assessments.
• Good understanding of:
  • IAM and authentication
  • network security and segmentation
  • firewalls, proxies, and connectivity
  • encryption and data protection
  • security logging, monitoring, and controls
  • cloud security principles
• Experience assessing technical solutions and translating security risks into practical recommendations and security controls.
• Experience working with business and technology stakeholders and communicating security topics clearly.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and make well-structured security recommendations.
• Very good English communication skills.
