Do you want to contribute to projects shaping the future of energy in the Baltics and beyond? Ignitis Group shared service center is a part of the Ignitis Group – a renewables-focused integrated utility. Our purpose is to create a 100% green and secure energy ecosystem for current and future generations.
The Centre boasts a diverse range of competencies that not only ensure the smooth operation of daily activities across the Group but also support the energy transition in the Baltic Sea region. We are involved with all the Group’s products, from solar parks to electric vehicle charging stations. Given the scope and variety of projects, our team includes specialists in multiple disciplines, such as law, IT, HR, communications, procurement, and more. Every colleague, regardless of their area of expertise, contributes to the development of energy independence in Lithuania and beyond, extending to neighboring countries.
We are looking for a Security Architect to join our IT Architecture team and help shape secure technology solutions across the Group. In this role, you will bridge the gap between cybersecurity requirements and their practical implementation in technology by helping to determine how security should be effectively embedded into architecture, software engineering and infrastructure practices. As a critical player in the energy sector, we place strong emphasis on cybersecurity resilience and operational reliability to support our commitments to customers and the continuity of critical energy infrastructure. If that speaks to you, we’d be happy to welcome you to our team!
Take YOUR part in #EnergySmart!
You will contribute to the creation of a green and secure energy ecosystem by:
- Shaping, owning and continuously improving IT and OT security architecture principles, standards and reusable solution patterns, covering network security and segmentation, secure connectivity, identity and access management, and IT/OT integration
- Embedding security throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), from solution design through development, testing and deployment, and driving the integration of standardized and automated security controls into CI/CD pipelines and engineering practices
- Assessing the security architecture of new and changing IT and OT solutions and defining proportionate, technically sound and practically implementable approaches to managing identified risks
- Translating cybersecurity requirements and identified risks into practical architecture and technical solutions
- As part of the IT architecture team, collaborating closely with cybersecurity specialists, software engineering teams, infrastructure and network engineers, and other technology professionals to shape secure and practical technology solutions
- Strengthening secure software engineering capabilities by bringing the cybersecurity perspective into the engineering community and promoting secure development practices across teams
- 5+ years of relevant IT experience, including hands-on responsibility for designing and implementing technical solutions in software engineering, infrastructure or security engineering
- Demonstrated experience in designing secure technical architectures and translating security requirements into implementable engineering solutions, including security controls embedded into infrastructure, software development or delivery processes
- Ability to design and assess secure infrastructure, cloud, network, identity and access management solutions
- Ability to assess cybersecurity risks and define proportionate, technically sound and practically implementable security solutions
- Good understanding of cybersecurity regulations and standards, with the ability to translate requirements into practical technical solutions
- Ability to independently make and defend architecture decisions and reach pragmatic solutions across technology and cybersecurity teams
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex security topics to both cybersecurity and technology professionals
Would be an advantage:
- Experience with security tooling in CI/CD pipelines, policy-as-code, threat modelling, IAM/PAM, Azure security solutions, or OT/ICS security standards.
- A package of additional benefits to choose from: pension accumulation, health insurance, or another benefit from the selectable benefits list in the MELP application
- Additional paid days for health improvement, short-term illness, volunteering, and accumulated work experience
- A hybrid work model (3+2) and flexible working hours
- Internal career opportunities
- Extensive learning and qualification enhancement programs
- Mentorship-based culture designed to facilitate meaningful and value-driven work
- Take part in an unfolding energy transformation process to create a 100% green and secure energy ecosystem for both current and future generations
Join a growing and increasingly international team of energy smart people united by a common purpose. We all play our part in creating a 100 % secure and green energy ecosystem for current and future generations.
And the way to achieve this is certainly not to wait for the perfect moment. We believe that the power to act comes from the charge we bring to our work every day. United by purpose. Owning the challenge. Passion for reinvention. Pursuing excellence. These are our mindsets. Together, they yield the energy that drives everything we do. The energy generated by our choices.
