Security Operations Center Analyst L2

Redshift is looking for a Security Operations Center Analyst L2 to join our team.

Responsabilities

• Performing threat hunting, incident response, and other Security Operations Center (SOC) activities.
• Building and maintaining effective, positive relationships with customers.
• Monitoring and analyzing cybersecurity threats using security monitoring platforms (e.g., SIEM solutions).
• Conducting in-depth investigations of critical security incidents escalated by Tier 1 analysts.
• Collaborating with Tier 1 teams to identify and eliminate false positives.
• Identifying and developing new security monitoring use cases.
• Coordinating and managing security incident response activities.
• Contributing to the development and maintenance of incident response playbooks.
• Managing customer communications throughout the incident response process.
• Reviewing and enhancing recurring security reports (weekly, monthly, and annual).
• Participating in customer meetings to present and discuss security reports.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of IT and cybersecurity principles.
• In-depth knowledge of major operating systems.
• Strong understanding of computer networking.
• Solid knowledge of firewall technologies.
• Hands-on experience with security monitoring platforms (e.g., IBM QRadar, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, or equivalent SIEM solutions).
• Good understanding of email security, including both cloud-based and on-premises environments.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools.
