YOUR DAY TO DAY:

• Take ownership of the day-to-day security operations engineering work across multicloud (Azure, AWS, GCP), hybrid and on-premises environments.
• Pick up solutions once our senior security engineers complete an implementation, and become the person who keeps them running, tuned and healthy in production.
• Keep AI security engineering solutions operational, ensuring guardrails, monitoring and controls stay effective as adoption grows.
• Run network security controls in steady state - firewall and segmentation policy, secure connectivity, rule reviews and change requests.
• Operate cloud security controls and posture across the three hyperscalers, following through on findings and remediation.
• Handle day-to-day IAM operations: access reviews, role and entitlement changes, joiner–mover–leaver flows and privileged access hygiene.
• Support DevSecOps pipelines in production - keep scanning tooling running, triage findings with development teams and keep security gates dependable.
• Write and maintain runbooks, documentation and automate the repetitive parts of operational work.

YOUR PROFILE:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, or a technical field, or cybersecurity experience/certifications.
• 3 years of experience in security operations or another cybersecurity-related role, OR a minimum of 6 months of experience in an engineering role.
• Working knowledge of at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS or GCP), with a genuine interest in building depth across all three.
• Understanding of core network security concepts: firewalls, segmentation, VPN, TLS and DNS.
• Familiarity with IAM fundamentals - authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, least privilege and RBAC.
• Comfortable operating in a hybrid estate where cloud and on-premises systems sit side by side.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets and IaC scanning) is considered a plus.
• Awareness of AI and LLM security concepts, and the risks specific to AI-enabled systems, is considered a plus.
• Scripting experience (Python, PowerShell, Bash) or infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) for automation is considered a plus.
• Experience using AI tools such and LLMs to solve security problems is considered a plus.
• Relevant cybersecurity engineering certifications such are considered a plus.
• A strong communicator who can work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, with good written and spoken English.
• Willing to work from Monday to Friday between 12:00 and 21:00 with 1 hour lunch break, in a hybrid system (4 days from our office) and between 15:00 and 24:00 with 1 hour lunch break in a remote system.
