Senior Accountant

Description Help drive operational excellence at TrueCommerce. Support business performance through financial management. As a Senior Accountant, you will own key accounting functions, including general ledger activities, account reconciliations, and critical components of the monthly close process. This role also includes treasury responsibilities such as cash reporting, forecasting, and intercompany transfer management. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting while partnering closely with global finance teams. What You'll Do: General Ledger Accounting Own GL accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account analysis Prepare and post routine and complex journal entries with appropriate support Maintain and analyze balance sheet accounts; investigate and resolve variances Perform and own cash, bank, and subledger reconciliations Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations across global entities Maintain fixed asset accounting and roll forwards Month-End Close Own and execute assigned areas of the global month-end close in accordance with close calendar deadlines Own preparation and review of accruals, journal entries, and account reconciliations Perform balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules Coordinate with global teams during daily close updates Lead expense variance review and analysis Own or support key components of flash reporting, consolidated P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reporting Support close system activities such as closing periods in NetSuite Treasury & Cash Management Initiate and process wire transfers and other bank transactions Ensure proper controls and approvals over cash movements and wire activity Own cash reporting cadence including daily and weekly reporting Develop and maintain short- and long-term cash forecasts Monitor cash balances and liquidity across accounts Partner with leadership on cash visibility and funding needs Support monthly cash flow and lender reporting requirements Financial Reporting & Analysis Prepare and deliver financial packages for leadership and lenders Analyze trends in revenue, expenses, and cash flows Provide insights to support business decision-making Audit, Compliance & Controls Support external audits and prepare audit schedules Assist with tax compliance and filings Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting policies Process Improvement & Systems Identify opportunities to automate and improve accounting processes Leverage ERP systems (NetSuite) and reporting tools Support implementation of new accounting standards and system enhancements Leverage AI and automation tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of accounting processes Requirements for Success: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong experience in GL accounting and month-end close Experience with cash management and treasury operations Solid understanding of US GAAP Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) Advanced Excel skills Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, global environment Perks & Benefits Remote first and casual work environment 401k with 3.5% company match and vested after 2 years 20 PTO days - 1 birthday day off - 3 summer days - 1 volunteer day - 10 company holidays Medical, dental, vision and other life/health insurance plans Paid parental leave Wellness reimbursement program Who is TrueCommerce?
