A growing industrial services company is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in its finance team. This high-impact position offers the opportunity to own the month-end close process, collaborate closely with leadership, and grow alongside a company that values internal advancement and continuous improvement. Overview The Senior Accountant will serve as a key contributor to the monthly close process, financial reporting, and multi-entity accounting operations. Working closely with the CFO and finance team, this role combines hands-on accounting responsibilities with opportunities to improve processes and support the company's continued growth. Key Responsibilities Lead the month-end close process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare and post journal entries, including intercompany transactions and monthly accruals Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies Prepare and analyze financial statements, including the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement Prepare and file sales and use tax, personal property tax, and other required filings Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policies Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 5+ years of progressive accounting experience Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes Experience with intercompany accounting and multi-entity environments Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills CPA or active CPA candidacy preferred Why Join?
