Overview The Senior Accountant will play a key role in the monthly close process, with primary responsibility for revenue recognition, cash management, and month-end close reporting across our portfolio of physician practices. This role requires strong technical accounting skills, comfort working in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment, and the ability to partner cross-functionally with practice operations, revenue cycle, and FP&A teams. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional looking to grow within a dynamic, PE-backed healthcare services platform. This position will be 3 days in office/2-remote Responsibilities Revenue Accounting Record and reconcile monthly revenue and accounts receivable across multiple physician practice entities, ensuring accuracy and completeness Analyze revenue trends and investigate variances against budget/forecast Ensure revenue recognition is in accordance with GAAP and company policy Cash Management Perform daily/weekly cash monitoring and reconciliation across multiple bank accounts and entities Prepare and maintain cash flow reporting and forecasting support Month-End Close & Reporting Prepare and post journal entries for assigned areas, including accruals, prepaids, and reclasses Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and resolve reconciling items timely Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for management and PE sponsor reporting Identify and drive process improvements to shorten close timelines and increase accuracy Other Support internal and external audit requests, including PBC schedules Assist with integration of newly acquired practices onto accounting systems and processes Maintain and enhance internal controls in a multi-entity, PE-backed environment Ad hoc financial analysis and special projects assigned Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, required 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience; healthcare, physician practice management, multi-site services experience, or public accounting experience preferred Private equity-backed or portfolio company experience a plus Strong knowledge of GAAP, particularly as it relates to revenue recognition Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks) preferred Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple entities and deadlines simultaneously Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with both finance and clinical operations stakeholders High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and integrity in handling financial data Together Women’s Health is a private equity-backed platform supporting women's health physician practices.
