Senior Accountant

We’re hiring: Senior Accountant (Client Portfolio) – Bucharest | Hybrid

We are growing our team and looking for a Senior Accountant to manage the full Romanian accounting cycle for a portfolio of clients and work closely with our accounting, tax, and payroll teams.

What you'll actually do:

• Manage end-to-end accounting for a portfolio of clients
• Review accounting records, trial balances, and financial statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual tax and statutory reporting
• Coordinate and mentor junior accountants
• Support clients with accounting and compliance matters
• Perform financial analyses and prepare management reports
• Assist during audits and inspections by regulatory authorities
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure high-quality service delivery

Must-haves:

• Bachelor's degree in economics / accounting
• Minimum 3–4 years in full-cycle accounting — from primary documents to trial balance and financial statements
• Hands-on daily experience with SAGA
• English at an intermediate level (written and verbal) — part of our client base works in English
• Availability to work from our Bucharest office 3 days per week (2 days WFH)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay organized in busy periods
• Clear and effective communication skills (written & verbal)

Nice to have

• Experience with OMC / SAP / SoftOne / Navision / Priority
• Experience in an accounting or outsourcing firm
• CECCAR membership (or in progress)
