Our fiscal sponsorship practice is our fastest-growing line of business, and we're hiring a Senior Accountant to grow with it. Why this role is a great one You'll see your impact. What you'll do Full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of fiscally sponsored programs — from journal entries and reconciliations to month-end close Prepare accurate, timely financial statements and reporting for internal leadership and the programs we support Manage accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger activity with a sharp eye for accuracy Track restricted and unrestricted funds and help ensure grant and donor compliance Support budgeting, cash flow monitoring, and year-end audit preparation Spot process improvements and help us build cleaner, faster ways to work as we scale What you bring 6+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in a fast-growing or high-volume environment A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field Strong grasp of GAAP and full-cycle accounting Comfort with accounting software and strong Excel skills Sharp attention to detail, strong organization, and the judgment to prioritize when a lot is moving at once Clear, honest communication — you share what you see early and often Not required, but a plus: nonprofit or fund accounting experience, familiarity with fiscal sponsorship, or a CPA.
