Senior Accountant – with Grants Experience

Hybrid - 1 day a week in office in local DC metro area

Remote - if outside DC metro area

Salary to $85,000 + bonus

Our client is a mission-driven, energetic organization whose goal is to provide a strategy to enhance its stakeholders’ philanthropic pursuits. A great candidate will have 3+ years of accounting experience primarily in the nonprofit sector. You’ve worked with financial statements, and exposure to international accounting is a plus. Your experience includes accounting for a non-profit C3 organization with C4 experience a+, or auditing financial statements and/or preparing them, preferably in a non-profit organization.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Accounting degree - Master's and/or CPA preferred
• 3+ years of grants accounting experience
• Financial statement experience
• Extremely comfortable with Excel and enjoy learning new systems
• Enjoy working both with a team and independently
