Senior Accountant

To strengthen our finance team, we are looking for a General Ledger Accountant to support accounting activities for Bulgaria. Our offer Permanent position in a fast-growing international company High level of responsibility and ownership Flat hierarchies and fast decision-making processes International and dynamic team Flexible working conditions (home office possible) Standard working schedule: 40 hours per week Key responsibilities Daily accounting activities Month-end closing in accordance with US GAAP and Bulgarian GAAP Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements Account reconciliation and analysis of balance sheet and P&L accounts Support in consolidation processes according to US GAAP Coordination with internal teams, HQ and external stakeholders (auditors, tax advisors) Participation in the development and improvement of accounting processes Documentation of accounting processes and internal procedures Requirements 5+ years of experience in accounting, preferably in General Ledger Strong knowledge of US GAAP and Bulgarian GAAP Basic tax knowledge (Bulgaria) Experience with month-end closing processes Degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics Experience with ERP systems and strong Excel skills Hands-on and proactive approach Strong communication skills and ability to work independently Personal qualities Team player with a high level of personal responsibility Structured and detail-oriented Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Language requirements English – professional working proficiency Location Bulgaria (remote or hybrid) Holiday calendar Bavarian holidays #LI-Remote Xometry is an equal opportunity employer.
