As an Annual Reporting Specialist you compile and review annual reports and prepare various financial (interim) reports. You work with corporate income tax, personal income tax, and Dutch tax legislation. You also ensure proper file formation and management. You may be required to guide/supervise other accountants and maintain independent contact with customers.


Main responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review annual financial statements, including non-complex consolidations.
  • Prepare interim financial reports and other management reporting.
  • Prepare Corporate Income Tax and Personal Income Tax returns.
  • Process and review VAT returns and ensure compliance with tax legislation.
  • Perform month-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure complete and accurate accounting files and documentation.
  • Manage multiple accounting engagements while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients and serve as their trusted point of contact.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement within the accounting team.


You bring:

  • A Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Preffered Certified (Public) Accountant qualification.
  • Around 7+ years of experience in a complex accounting environment.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS.
  • Experience preparing Annual Financial Statements.
  • Knowledge of VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Personal Income Tax.
  • Experience managing multiple clients.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a strong eye for detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and spoken.
