About You: You've got 5+ years of experience in an Australian public accounting firm, and you're ready to step into something bigger. Job Overview: As a Senior Accountant, you'll play a crucial role in our production accounting team. You'll deliver accurate and insightful work that makes a significant difference for our clients, handling everything from preparing and reviewing financial statements to managing complex tax matters. Key Responsibilities: Preparing annual tax returns & financial accounts for: Individuals Sole traders Partnerships Companies Trusts Prepare and review complex individual, sole traders, partnerships, companies, and trust tax returns. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accountants, helping them develop their skills and grow within the firm. Stay on top of tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards and share this knowledge with the team. Attend monthly internal training sessions to continue your professional development (including tax updates).
