Senior Accountant - Cash and Intercompany

What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end accounting and control for cash and intercompany processes across multiple entities and regions
- Oversee daily cash accounting, bank reconciliations, and cash positioning to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
- Manage intercompany accounting lifecycle, including billing, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end close activities for cash and intercompany, including journals, substantiations, and variance analysis
- Own and maintain balance sheet integrity for cash and intercompany accounts, resolving aged or complex reconciling items
- Partner with Treasury on cash management, funding, and liquidity activities to ensure alignment between accounting and operational cash movements
- Drive governance and rigor across intercompany processes, including agreement alignment, pricing consistency, and settlement cycles
- Lead intercompany netting and settlement processes, improving efficiency and reducing exposures
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and external reporting requirements, proactively identifying and mitigating risks
- Support internal and external audits, providing clear documentation and timely resolution of queries
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and standardisation across regions and systems
- Provide leadership and guidance to team members, building capability in cash management and intercompany accounting
- Deliver clear reporting and insights on cash positions, intercompany balances, and exposures to support decision-making
What We're Looking For
- 5+ experience in financial accounting with deep exposure to cash management, bank reconciliations, and intercompany accounting
- Solid technical understanding of IFRS/GAAP, particularly in relation to financial instruments, foreign currency, and intercompany eliminations
- Proven experience managing high-volume, multi-entity, and multi-currency environments
- Strong control approach with a track record of maintaining robust balance sheet integrity and audit readiness
- Demonstrated ability to resolve complex reconciliation issues and drive timely closure of aged items
- Experience partnering with Treasury and working capital teams
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive accountability across regions and functions
- Process improvement approach, with experience in driving automation and simplifying finance operations
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Confident communicator, able to present issues and insights clearly to senior stakeholders
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. D365) and reconciliation tools preferred
- Qualified accountant (CA/CPA or equivalent)
