Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated, analytical, and detail-oriented Senior Accountant / Financial Analyst (remote) to join our Accounting & Finance team. The ideal candidate will combine strong accounting expertise with financial analysis skills. This role is responsible for managing the month-end close process, preparing financial statements, performing account reconciliations, analysing financial performance, preparing management reports

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Perform balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and analyse monthly financial reports and management reports.
• Prepare KPI reports and perform financial data analysis.
• Analyse financial results and investigate variances.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.
• Prepare cash flow reports and other management reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information effectively.
• Deliver clear financial presentations and reports to management.
• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• ACCA, CPA, or CMA qualification (completed or in progress) preferred.
• 3–5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks and Microsoft Dynamics.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Experience

• Experience managing the month-end close process and preparing financial statements.
• Experience working in a multi-entity environment.
• Knowledge of payroll, fixed assets, and intercompany accounting.
• Experience preparing management reports and KPI dashboards.
