Senior Accountant / Financial Controller – UK Entities Location: Poland | Remote: 100% | Contract: 12 Months Language: Fluent English required About the Client Our client is a leading global consumer-products organization operating in 175+ countries , with approximately 40,000 employees worldwide. The organization manages a portfolio of well-known brands across personal care, family care, and other essential consumer products. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant / Financial Controller to support UK trading entities and holding companies within a multinational finance organization. The successful candidate will have strong experience in UK accounting and statutory reporting , with exposure to US GAAP, audit, tax compliance, and shared-service accounting operations. Key Responsibilities Manage accounting and financial reporting for UK entities. Prepare and review statutory financial statements and reporting. Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities. Coordinate external audits and provide required documentation. Support US GAAP reporting and corporate accounting requirements. Work with tax teams on UK tax compliance. Oversee and collaborate with shared-service accounting teams. Identify and resolve accounting and reporting issues. Utilize systems such as HFM and BlackLine . Requirements 5+ years of relevant accounting/financial control experience. Experience supporting UK legal entities in a multinational environment. Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and audit processes. Experience with US GAAP . Experience with HFM and/or BlackLine preferred. Knowledge of tax compliance and shared-service accounting models. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Fluent English (spoken and written). Polish language skills required. Must be based in Poland and able to work UK/European core business hours.
