Bring your accounting expertise to a role where you can help shape successful acquisitions and integrations. As a Senior Accountant, M&A, you will oversee general accounting activities related to mergers and acquisitions, supporting transactions from due diligence through post-close integration. What you will be doing: Own monthly general ledger close activities and prepare balance sheet reconciliations across legacy and newly acquired business units. Prepare monthly journal entries, including purchase accounting, opening balance sheet, and integration-related adjustments. Integrate acquired entities’ charts of accounts and general ledger processes into company systems and align local practices with global standards. Support merger and acquisition due diligence by reviewing target financial information, identifying accounting risks, and assisting with purchase price allocation. Partner with Financial Planning and Analysis and integration teams on general ledger analysis and post-close accounting activities. Use AI-assisted tools to help accelerate reconciliations, identify anomalies, and draft reports while reviewing outputs for accuracy and quality. Stay current on accounting standards, internal policies, and business combination guidance, and calculate vendor royalty payments as assigned.
